Freedom Boat Club Jacksonville is opening its third area location, Palm Valley Outdoors, near Nocatee at 377 S. Roscoe Blvd. The spot joins Julington Creek Marina in Jacksonville and Camachee Cove Marina in St. Augustine as an option to members.

Palm Valley Outdoors, a full-service outdoor campus, offers a retail store with live bait, kayak rentals, a waterfront grill and bar and more. The property has more than 350 feet of bulkhead and docks with plans to add dry stack.

“We have seen increased demand to be in the south Ponte Vedra area,” said Lisa Almeida, co-owner of Freedom Boat Club Jacksonville. “As our club continues to grow we want to be responsive to new options for our members.”

Freedom Boat Club was founded in Venice, FL. in 1987 and is the nation’s oldest and largest boating club with more than 145 locations and 16,000 members. In Jacksonville, the fleet has grown from four to 67 boats in six years.

A ribbon cutting event will be held on Oct. 17 at 6 p.m.
