Welcome to Freedom Boat Club of Fort Lauderdale!
The Fort Lauderdale Club is located at the Riverfront Marina, which is right in the heart of downtown Ft. Lauderdale. Across the river from the marina is the Las Olas Riverwalk featuring an array of restaurants and entertainment. Just a quick boat ride up the river will give you quick access to the ICW and the 17th Street Causeway.
Boating Requirements
Effective October 1, 2001, a person 21 years of age or younger may not operate a vessel powered by a motor of 10 horsepower or greater unless such person has in his or her possession aboard the vessel photographic identification and a boater safety identification.
Please note that as of January 1, 2009 all Members wishing to enjoy After Hours boating must complete the USCG Safe Boaters Course.
As of March 1, 2009 all Members will be required to complete a USCG certified Safe Boaters Course. You may fax a copy of your Certification Card to 954-200-6868
