Welcome to Freedom Boat Club of Fort Lauderdale!
Original, recreational and antique.
Founded along with the establishment of the FEC railroad line in the 1880's, Dania is Broward County’s oldest city and an age-old gem for boaters.
The Fort Lauderdale Club is located at the Royale Palm Yacht Basin, which is convenient to Fort Lauderdale International Airport and a mere ten-minute boat ride to the ocean. Up the intracoastal waterway, it’s also ten minutes to the 15th Street Causeway, featuring an array of restaurants and the mouth of the New River. Heading south, you’ll find more great dining plus superb water sports areas and canals.
Spend a day exploring the John U. Lloyd Beach State Recreation Area, home to endangered sea turtles and manatees, and a surreal backdrop for walks, picnics, swimming, fishing and boating.
Our Fort Lauderdale Club is located in Dania Beach which boasts more than 50 antique dealers, earning it the “Antiques Capital of the South” title.
