Every boat is a compromise. There's no hardcore fishing boat that can keep the watersports fans of the family happy, and there's no bowrider that any serious fisherman would want. But dual console boats have had success at making compromises less daunting. Polar's 2300 DC is one of the larger dual consoles on the market, and thus, it straddles the divide between fisherman and leisure cruiser with aplomb.

The angler has 6 rodholders lined up across the transom, 4 strategically placed holders amidships and in the bow cockpit, and 3 more on the bait prep station, bringing the total to 13. (Check out the inwale rodracks and coaming bolsters and toe rails, too, as well as the lockable stowage in the starboard console.) The 48-gallon standard livewell is much larger than what you'd find on the typical 20' to 22' dual console.

The 2101 Dual Console specializes in fishing, but lets you do so much more. The 25-inch freeboard allows you to track and attack fish comfortably. A bait station, 30-gallon live well, dual 64-quart fish boxes and a 248-quart in-deck fishbox make it your dream 21-foot fishing vessel. A swim ladder, walk-through transom, and delicately balanced ride make it a great family boat for fishing or just having fun water skiing, or pulling a tube.

Everglades 230CC Offers More... Step onto the Everglades 230cc and you'll see as much forward thinking squeezed into 23'7" as is humanly possible. Everywhere you look, this boat makes you stop and say, "Now that's pretty darn smart." Starting right up front, the traditional-style bow roller integrates a removable ladder for easy boarding from the beach. Behind the console, the leaning post converts smartly and securely to a bench seat and the footrest folds up and down. To the rear, the powder-coated aluminum stern rail integrates ski tow, rod holders, and grab handles for the swim platforms and aft seats. At the transom, oversized fiberglass swim platforms are stylishly integrated into the deck without external supports. Each is 30" long and extends the overall length of the boat by over a foot. A boarding ladder is built into the underside of the port swim platform, allowing for easy boarding from the water.
