There is good reason that Englewood is known as “The Gem of the Florida Gulf Coast.” The crystal blue waters surrounding Englewood provide easy access to some of southwest Florida’s most gorgeous beaches: Mansota Key, Englewood Beach, Stump Pass Beach State Park, and Don Pedro Island State Park.

Located on Lemon Bay, Freedom Boat Club of Englewood operates out of Ainger Creek Marina. Lemon Bay, which spans 8,000 acres, is a recreational boater’s paradise. The bay is fed by two Gulf passes and seven tributaries and provides various options for exploration and experiencing a memorable day on the water.

Fishermen have their choice of chasing shallow-water snook or deep-water grouper. And the waters around Lemon Bay offer miles of barrier islands and mangrove forests.

Directly acress Ainger Creek, Skipp's Placida Marina carries a full line of fishing tackle and live bait. And boaters also have multiple options for on-the-water dining in the area.

Florida Boating Requirements
