The Los Angeles and Long Beach Combined harbors claim to be the busiest commercial harbor in the world.  Heavy vessel traffic and club location in what is known as “Hurricane Harbor” requires all vessel Operators to have local training / briefing for both in and off shore boating.  Freedom Boat Club provides unlimited power boat training.

Freedom Boat Club provides a simple, hassle-free alternative to boat ownership that will allow our members to discover the real joy of boating and to foster a passion for the boating lifestyle. Members have unlimited access to the club fleet, but do not own them and never incur any service or storage fees. Reservations are made through an easy to use online system. Freedom Boat Club employs a proven member-to-boat ratio formula to ensure there are always plenty of boats in the fleet to service the demand of members. And unlike other club organizations, Freedom Boat Club rotates new boats into the system regularly, while moving them out of inventory after three years of usage. Membership is open to boaters of any skill level, 21 years of age and older. Whether you’ve never boated before, or you’ve boated for years, Freedom Boat Club welcomes you as a member!
