While some guests walk up the beach, others come by bike, car and trolley. Situated directly on the beach overlooking the Gulf of Mexico, this is the place to order cool tropical drinks and watch spectacular sunsets. Amid nostalgic architecture guests can enjoy casual dining - lunch and dinner, and live entertainment on the deck daily. It is the oldest operating beach pavilion in the state of Florida.

Caladesi Island State Park

As one of the few completely natural islands along Florida´s Gulf Coast, Caladesi´s white sand beaches were rated America's Best Beach in 2008. Beach lovers can enjoy swimming, sunbathing and beachcombing. Saltwater anglers can cast a line from their boats or surf fish. Picnic tables and shelters are located near the beach, and picnic pavilions can be reserved for a fee. The park has a marina with electric and water hookups, as well as a snack bar and gift shop. The park is accessible by boat or ferry.

Pier 60

For those who visit Clearwater Beach, a walk on iconic Pier 60 is a must. Pier 60 extends 1080 feet into the Gulf of Mexico and is open to fishermen and sightseers. The pier has a full bait house that rents and sells fishing gear, bait, snacks and drinks. Watching the sunset, birdwatching and dolphin-watching are activities not to miss when visiting our award-winning beach.

Clearwater Marine Aquarium

This is not your typical acquarium. Their marine life rescue center is home to Winter the dolphin, star and inspiration of the hit movies Dolphin Tale and Dolphin Tale 2, both filmed on location.
