Carrabelle is a peaceful fishing village where for many years fishing has been the way of life! Angling possibilities abound for offshore or bay fishing. Or you may wish to head upriver where even a novice angler can find plently of action. Numerous sloughs and streams feed the rivers around this area .
As for salwater anglers, there are almost endless choices, both in the bay and offshore. Starting with the bay some of the more popular species are speckled trout, redfish and sharks. Late fall, early winter is the best time to fish for speckled trout but they do bite all year long. Redfish can be found in some of the same places as speckled trout.
