Welcome to Freedom Boat Club of Sarasota:
Exhilarating, memorable and sun-bathed.

For beach lovers, there’s no better escape than the fine white sand and sparkling Gulf Coast waters of Sarasota.  Members can choose from an exhilarating mix of boating, water activities, shopping and local entertainment.  A great place to create many favorite and lasting memories.

From the marina, a short boat ride to Midnight Pass Beach allows for warm swims, shell-hunting, or relaxing in the sun (dogs are welcome on this beach, too!). If the tide is right, make a day trip to Lido Beach, where the sand bar makes a perfect spot to anchor and experience the brilliant surf.  Or take the family south to Roberts Bay in Venice, where skiing, tubing, knee boarding, and other sports abound.

For an easy waterfront lunch or dinner, cruise the intracoastal waterway to Marina Jack’s on the north, Coasters at the marina, or the Casey Key Fish House at the Blackburn Point swing bridge.

Boating Requirements

Effective October 1, 2001, a person 21 years of age or younger may not operate a vessel powered by a motor of 10 horsepower or greater unless such person has in his or her possession aboard the vessel photographic identification and a boater safety identification.
