Beach Hammock on Tybee Island is a favorite for families. There is protected anchorage and beach on the Wassaw Sound side of the Island. You can take a walk along the beach and around the point to the Atlantic.
Bonna Bella Waterfront Grille
Bonna Bella Yacht Club offers one of the most spectacular waterfront dining experiences in the Savannah area. Our large deck areas, literally over the water, offer panoramic views of the neighboring islands, open marshes and our deepwater dock.
Isle of Hope
Isle of Hope is just a short ride south on the ICW to Marker "46A". Along the banks you will see many historic pillared Victorian homes. Some of these homes may look familiar because they have been used in several movies.
River Street in Downtown Savannah
River Street in Downtown Savannah is a favorite for tourists and locals. River Street is on the Savannah River and less than 30 minutes from Bahia Bleu Marina. The City of Savannah maintains public docks that are available to recreational boaters. A very short walk from the dock there are numerous restaurants and loads of shopping. Several of the restaurants are highlighted below.
Tybee Island Light Station
Tybee's Light Station, built in 1773, is Georgia's oldest and tallest lighthouse, and one of America's most complete historic light stations. It has been guiding mariners safely into the Savannah River for more than 270 years, although it has been rebuilt several times.
Wassaw Beach on Wassaw Island is beautiful. Wassaw is the most unspoiled of Georgia's barrier island. This National Wildlife Refuge, accessible only by boat, offers biking, hiking, surf fishing, bird watching, sea kayaking, diverse wildlife and, of course, the beach.
