Boating from Danversport Yacht Club gives easy access to "Cocktail Cove" at Misery Island and fishing off Bakers Island.  Manchester, Salem and Marblehead harbors are all all minutes away.  Or plan a full day outing to Wingaersheek Beach. Deep water allows for a relaxing sail.

Local dining choices include the worlds only floating restaurant "The Rockmore" in Salem Harbor or your choice of restaurants at Pickering Wharf.

Members here enjoy unlimited use of the fleet in Danversport, Boston, Quincy, Hingham, and Falmouth.  In addition, members have access at every other location in the country for no additional cost.

We're looking to lease or trade for late model boats!

Why not let us maintain your boat while paying your boating expenses!

When you add your boat to our fleet, you can still use your boat, plus you gain access to the rest of our fleet as well.

We are looking for 22' - 30' late model boats (2005 and newer) to grow our fleet.

Seeking Dockstaff for 2012 Summer Season!January 09, 2012

Freedom Boat Club of Greater Boston

We are seeking staff for the upcoming 2012 boating season!

Position would start mid May and end around mid October.

We are seeking qualified, motivated individuals that love to be on the water!!


Previous Boating experience is a must. Must be familiar with and able to Operate boats up to 30 ft with twin engines. 

Basic Qualifications include:
- Boat handling and maneuvering in tight quarters
- Customer service experience 
- Line handling and safe docking practices 
- Detail oriented
- Ability to follow directions while thinking creatively



Duties include:
- cleaning boats
- checking members out/in
- fueling boats
- maintaining fuel log
- interacting with members to provide top notch members experience

Boating Requirements

Massachusetts does not require a state boating license. Members are required to participate in a Freedom Boat Club orientation. The Club does not require, but strongly recommends a U.S. Power Squadron Safe Boating Course (can be found online).
