Welcome to Freedom Boat Club of Newburyport, the intelligent and affordable alternative to boat ownership.

As a historic seaport, Newburyport grew to be one of the major shipbuilding and commercial centers on the east coast and was home to many sea captains and statesmen in Colonial times. Newburyport is also known as the birthplace of the U.S. Coast Guard.

Rich in history, resplendent in its architectural beauty and brimming with arts, culture and recreation, Newburyport is a gem. This quaint seaport city has everything...warm sandy beaches, a magnificent harbor boardwalk, first-rate dining and fun-filled shopping.  Our club operates out of Hilton's Marina, which puts us in the heart of the Newburyport waterfront and steps from all that the city has to offer. Come experience a modern and vibrant city that oozes with historic New England charm.

Members enjoy the opportunity to boat out of our Newburyport and Portsmouth locations allowing them to explore many of the historic sites, islands, and beaches at each location. With launching points of Hilton's Marina in Newburyport and Sagamore Creek in Portsmouth, FBC is conveniently located for any escape.
