Location: Newburyport, Massachusetts
Welcome to Freedom Boat Club of Newburyport:
Colonial, festive and enlightening.
As a historic seaport, Newburyport grew to be one of the major shipbuilding and commercial centers on the east coast and was home to many sea captains and statesmen in Colonial times. Newburyport is also known as the birthplace of the U.S. Coast Guard.
Rich in history, resplendent in its architectural beauty and brimming with arts, culture and recreation, Newburyport is a gem. This quaint seaport city has everything...warm sandy beaches, a magnificent harbor boardwalk, first-rate dining and fun-filled shopping. Our new location at Hilton's Marina puts us in the heart of the Newburyport waterfront and steps from all that the city has to offer. Come experience a modern and vibrant city that oozes with historic New England charm.
Members enjoy the opportunity to boat out of our Newburyport and Portsmouth locations allowing them to explore many of the historic sites, islands, and beaches at each location. With launching points of Hilton's Marina in Newburyport and Sagamore Creek in Portsmouth, FBC is conveniently located for any escape.
Be sure to watch the "See how it works" video at the top of this page for additional details.

Add your boat to our fleet
We are currently looking to buy, lease or trade for late model boats. Why not let us maintain your boat and pay your boating expenses? When you add your boat to our fleet, you can still use your boat plus gain access to the rest of our fleet as well. We are looking for 22'-27' late model boats (2005 or newer) to increase our fleet. We are especially interested in center consoles and cruiser style boats. Please give us a call if you or someone you know is or could be interested.
Freedom Boat Club moves to the Newburyport waterfront March 15, 2009
Starting on March 15th, 2009 FBC will be operating out of Hilton's Marina on the Newburyport Waterfront . Hilton's Marina is located between Michael's Harborside and The Black Cow Restaurant which is just a short stroll from the activities of downtown. Hilton's is the ideal location for our club and we are very excited about this move. We are now able to offer our members restrooms, showers, laundry facilities, a coffee shop and a number of great restaurants, all within steps of our fleet. Just think how nice it would be to take a day trip out to the Isles of Shoals, return to the marina to freshen up, dine within feet of the marina, then overnight on one of our cabin cruisers, just to wake up the next morning to do it all over again. For members of the Freedom Boat Club, this is just another day in boater's paradise....please call us at (978) 499-0899 to find out how you can get in on the fun.
The Boat is Waiting! Why are you?
