Welcome to Freedom Boat Club of Georgetown:
Historic, delightful and quaint.

Georgetown is South Carolina’s third oldest – and possibly quaintest – seaport.  Chock-full of unique shops, restaurants, art galleries and antiques, the Harborwalk is one of its most delightful attractions, and is only steps from the club.

A boat ride in Winyah Bay and surrounding rivers reveals plantation mansions and abandoned rice fields from long ago.  While a trip to a remote barrier island offers prime shell collecting and a romantic glimpse of the North Island Lighthouse.

Our office in located on the site that the British Commander used as his occupation headquarters during the Revolution.
