Welcome to Freedom Boat Club of Knoxville:
Where Rivers and Mountains Meet
Fort Loudoun Reservoir claims over 350 miles of shoreline across the East Tennessee River Valley, covering 14,600 acres of Water Surface. Because of East Tennessee's 7 major lakes, it is also known as "The Great Lakes of the South." Fort Loudoun is a popular recreation destination known for its bass fishing, water sports, boating and bird watching. Freedom Boat Club of Knoxville sits in a wide area of the river just 36 miles west of Downtown Knoxville and only 10 miles east of The Fort Loudoun Dam that was built in the 1940s. Through its course it provides boaters with plenty of coves and shaded areas for anchoring and water sport.
Freedom Boat Club provides locals and guests from all over the country an easy, safe way to explore the waters East Tennessee has provided us. With a Freedom Boat Club membership you don't have to worry about boat maintenance, dock fees, insurance, the clean up or tailoring your vessel. Training is provided to all members and we always help cast you off and reel you back in when you return.
The only alternative to boat ownership. Making it stress free, easy and fun.
