They say things are bigger in Texas, and Lake Travis certainly fits the mold. Situated near Austin, it is one of the largest recreational boating lakes in the state and a favorite of enthusiasts from around the country.
Boating here is multi-class, offering sailboat and windsurfing regattas, competition ski boats, cruises, cigarrette boats, and oversized house boats. Additional outdoor activities are endless. Fishing, swimming, scuba diving, camping and more make the Lake Travis facilities and public parks ideal for hot summer weather.
For winding down, stop in Carlos ‘n’ Charlie’s for live entertainment or visit one of the many lakeside establishments.

To determine which option might best fit the club's requirements we ask that you fill out the Trade In Program sheet you can obtain by email me at bmarquardt@freedomboatclub.com. Email it back to me or fax it back. Please provide us with as much information as possible so we can determine if your boat may fit our club profile. Boats under consideration must be in excellent condition.

Boating Requirements
Boaters younger than 18 years of age must complete a TPWD-approved course and be certified with TPWD to operate any vessel over 10 horsepower, wind-blown vessel over 14 feet and all personal watercraft.
