Location: Pensacola, Florida
Welcome to Freedom Boat Club of Pensacola:
Engaging, historic and breathtaking.
Pensacola offers something for everyone, with a diverse heritage dating back more than 450 years. Enjoy cultural attractions, like museums and the uniquely modest architecture of the Seville Historic District.
Experience the roar of the famous Blue Angels demonstration team, a U.S. Navy icon since World War II, as they practice maneuvers for 66 nationwide airshows each year.
Stop at one of many serene parks with fountains. Feed the ducks at Bayview Park or Bayou Texar. Or watch an osprey catch fish at Big Lagoon State Park.
Here you’ll find some of the best white-sand beaches of Florida’s panhandle. And the Pensacola area is a haven for scuba divers, where they can explore the world’s largest artificial reef; the sunken U.S.S. Massachusetts; or the moray eels, red snapper, grouper, cobia and amberjack drawn to the Antores, a 400-foot freighter. These local sights are ideal for spear fishing and breathtaking underwater photography.
Boating Requirements
Effective October 1, 2001, a person 21 years of age or younger may not operate a vessel powered by a motor of 10 horsepower or greater unless such person has in his or her possession aboard the vessel photographic identification and a boater safety identification.
