Welcome to Freedom Boat Club of  Point Pleasant and Brick

In addition to fun at the Point Pleasant/Brick location you also have unlimited access to the Monmouth Beach and Toms River locations. 

With a mix of vacation activities, this club offers on and off-water options to please anyone. The area is full of dining and sightseeing opportumities. The marina offers quick access to open water and the Point Pleasant Canal to th Manasquan river and Point Pleasant. This is a great location for access North and South.

Members can explore a network of waterways North to the Point Pleasant Canal and Manasquan River through Point Pleasant , out the inlet and into the Grand Atlantic Ocean. A ride out the inlet and back will bring the Ocean air into your lungs and make you feel great about being on the water. Check out the entire waterway area and take some pictures.       As always use the buoys and stay in the well marked channels.

The Point Pleasant Inlet area offers locally caught seafood at several on the water restuarants with open docking and scenic outdoor Tiki Bar locations. This is a great place to take in the local venue of a fishing village atmosphere and some high-class type  Marina/Restuarant locals. Sit, relax and check out the boats and views!

A Southern heading  will bring you to the  Metedeconk River  and Mantoloking bridge through Brick and the open water of the Barnegat Bay.  The area sports some of the most impressive boating and diving opportunities on the East Coast.  Fishing enthusiasts will enjoy year-round surf fishing, deep sea fishing, winter party boats, sport fishing, crabbing and clamming.

Off shore, take the family to the Jenkinsons Boardwalk to play for the day.  Built in 1915, it spans the entire stretch of Point Pleasant Beach and offers shopping and dining as well as games and 27 amusement rides (even for small children). Jenkinson's Aquarium is a local attraction with world class entertainment. Thursday's Brick Township puts on a free show at Windward Beach Park with entertainment, food and fireworks for a great family night out.

And if you simply want to unwind, escape to a pretty spot on one of many private or public beaches along the Jersey Shore.

Boating Requirements

As of June 1, 2008, no person may operate a sailboat or powerboat longer than 12 feet without successfully completing an approved boat safety course taught by an approved boat safety instructor. The mandatory boat safety course required shall be successfully completed.

Out of State residents, at least 16YOA, and who will be in NJ for less than 90 days, who do not possess a NJ certificate, may operate a power vessel if they possess any of the following: A boat safety cert from their state of residence Written proof of successful completion of a boat safety course endorsed or approved by another state, the USCG or NASBLA.
