My wife and I have been members for 3 years and have made extensive use of the Cape Cod locations in Chatham and East and West Dennis. Our experience has been wonderful. New, clean boats, regular availability, quality training have all enriched our participation. The flexibility of multiple locations allows us to adjust to weather conditions, activities (fishing or just cruising) without trailering or long, time consuming cruises. Allowing our children to participate as family members is an added benefit and living in Chicago for part of the year has enabled us to cruise Lake Michigan through the reciprocal program. And when are day of fun is over...we are met at the dock by smiling Dock people who take over and gas up and clean the boat. The biggest surprise has been dock people. Having been a senior executive for a large national corporation focused on consumer satisfaction, I am completely impressed with the people working Freedom's locations. Friendly, helpful and courteous are but a few words that describe them. From helping with navigation, fishing tips to carrying things to and from the car they are one of the strongest components of the club.

Our experience has been far beyond what we expected. We have never had a problem reserving a boat. We have even used the reciprocal reservation system and that has been a non-issue. We have gone to several Freedom boat locations. The people working at the docks are the finest group of people I've encountered in a while. They are all so helpful. They make everything simple. We have never owned or operated a boat prior to freedom boat and it's been an easy transition.

I had never navigated a boat in the past. What kind of training? What style of boats? Would I have issues booking a boat? Was there only a few to rent? My experience has been very positive. The training was very good. The boats used by Freedom were also good, it was nice to know you could reserve the boat you like to use. The marinas locations are great. Most locations we used in MA were easy to launch and dock to. The Marina staff at every location very helpful! You'd be surprised how user friendly the boat club can be. I was pleased with the decision to join. Being a newer member I'd be happy to answer any questions a perspective member might have.

At first, I was worried boats wouldn’t be available, but it never happened. We’ve had total enjoyment! No worries, or problems with the boats unlike owning your own. No constant work and expense with your own boat. Just enjoy the trip with all the fun. The boats were always available, clean and ready to go. The dock teams were terrific. After 40 years of boating, I made a great decision going to Freedom Boat Club!!

This quiant marina is full of history and was once one of the busiest wharfs in Downtown Boston. Today the busy wharf is home to the Boston Harbor Towers. The marina sits directly between the Harbor Towers, The New England Aquarium and Aquarium garage. The marina is equiped with a locked gate, so please make contact with the dockstaff before arriving.
