Located at Wyland's Marine in Mishawaka, Indiana, the Freedom Boat Club of Michiana offers an exceptional boating experience on the scenic St. Joseph River. Members have the unique opportunity to explore 15 miles of this picturesque river, stretching all the way to Elkhart, Indiana. The club provides a variety of boats perfect for fishing enthusiasts, allowing members to try their luck catching Blue Gill, Pike, Bass, and other species in the river's rich waters. The tranquil surroundings and abundant wildlife create an ideal setting for a relaxing day on the water, whether you're an experienced angler or a casual fishing fan.
Beyond fishing, the St. Joseph River offers numerous sand bars and serene spots for members to enjoy. How much is it? Are there different membership options?
The pricing structure is much like a country club. You will pay a one-time entry fee and monthly dues based on the membership that you choose. Connect with the club nearest you to learn more about membership options and current promotions!
How do I make a reservation?
Reserving a boat has never been easier. Simply log in to your reservation dashboard and choose your desired date, vessel, and time slot.
How much can I boat?
We allow up to 4 rolling reservations at any given time. Simply put – you can have 4 reservations on the books. Once you use one, you free one up. You may book up to 6 months in advance!
How many boats do you have?
Number and type of boats will vary by location. Connect with the club nearest you to learn more about the local fleet.
