ABOUT

SAFE HARBOR SKULL CREEK

FBC Hilton Head is located at the Skull Creek Marina, located on the intercoastal waterways at the north end of Hilton Head Island. A fisherman’s paradise being as it is only one mile from Port Royal Sound to the north. In these waters there is an abundance of wildlife including dolphins, eagles, pelicans and manatees.

 

Just a half mile from the marina you’ll find three of the finest restaurants in the area– Hudson’s, Dockside, and Skull Creek Boathouse. Another popular boater’s destination is a trip down the May River, a short distance from the marina. Taking this route, you’ll want to take advantage of a public dock area in beautiful Bluffton, SC. Bluffton is noted for lovely downtown streets offering fine restaurants, casual restaurants, art museums, a Thursday farmers market and historic places to visit.

 

Another popular destination is Palmetto Bluff where its own picturesque views are the epitome of southern charm. During low tide you may find yourself enjoying one of the several sand bars in the area. We invite you to join us and experience for yourself the beauty of the lowcountry.

How much is it? Are there different membership options?

The pricing structure is much like a country club. You will pay a one-time entry fee and monthly dues based on the membership that you choose. Connect with the club nearest you to learn more about membership options and current promotions!

How do I make a reservation?

Reserving a boat has never been easier. Simply log in to your reservation dashboard and choose your desired date, vessel, and time slot.

How much can I boat?

We allow up to 4 rolling reservations at any given time. Simply put – you can have 4 reservations on the books. Once you use one, you free one up. You may book up to 6 months in advance!

How many boats do you have?

Number and type of boats will vary by location. Connect with the club nearest you to learn more about the local fleet.

Everything was ready to go without any problem, very clean boats, full gas plus the person at the dock was really friendly and helpful about everything. Great experience!

Incredible day of boating with the Freedom Boat Club yesterday. They went above and beyond. It was our first use of the reciprocal agreement and it was just as good as our typical experience on Long Island at our home base.
