The Yards Marina in Washington, D.C., home of Freedom Boat Club - Washington D.C., is in the prime location for members looking to stay and play in the nation's capital. Nestled along the scenic Potomac River, this prime destination offers an unparalleled boating experience with exceptional local water access and diverse boating opportunities. The Yards marina, strategically situated in the vibrant Navy Yard neighborhood, presents a gateway to explore the historic waterways of the nation's capital. Members of Freedom Boat Club have the privilege of cruising the iconic Potomac River, where they can soak in breathtaking views of iconic landmarks such as the Washington Monument, Lincoln Memorial, and the Capitol Building from a unique perspective on the water. This area boasts blocks of fine dining restaurants, world-class hotels, hip lounges, quaint pubs, and the best of national and local shops. In addition to all that – you can take a quick walk to Nationals Park.

How much is it? Are there different membership options?
The pricing structure is much like a country club. You will pay a one-time entry fee and monthly dues based on the membership that you choose. Connect with the club nearest you to learn more about membership options and current promotions!
How do I make a reservation?
Reserving a boat has never been easier. Simply log in to your reservation dashboard and choose your desired date, vessel, and time slot.
How much can I boat?
We allow up to 4 rolling reservations at any given time. Simply put – you can have 4 reservations on the books. Once you use one, you free one up. You may book up to 6 months in advance!
How many boats do you have?
Number and type of boats will vary by location. Connect with the club nearest you to learn more about the local fleet.
