LAKE NORMAN - CORNELIUS

Welcome to Lake Norman! Lake Norman is 34 miles long with over 520 miles of shoreline. It offers some of the most beautiful boating available and is the biggest man-made lake in North Carolina. We have 4 locations that offer unlimited access on Lake Norman, and in-season, we have over 75 boats in service. 



The Weir Family is excited to serve our members and guests as we welcome you to Freedom Boat Club of Lake Norman and Lake Wylie. Boasting four convenient locations with brand new, top model boats in our fleet each season, our luxury clubs are ready for your lazy pontoon picnics or the rip roaring fun of an afternoon of water sports. JETTON PARK

This 104 acre lakefront park offers opportunities for the entire family. It includes picnic sites, lighted tennis courts, walking trails, gazebo, sunning beach (no swimming), playgrounds, restrooms, concession area and Waterfront Hall which may be reserved for special events. There is no entrance fees to get into the park.

Birkdale Village is an urban mixed-use community in Huntersville, North Carolina, United States, 12 miles north of Charlotte, North Carolina. It was named after the English village of Birkdale, near Liverpool. It has numerous restaurants and stores.

This 46-acre waterfront park welcomes families and individuals. It features a swimming area, boat launching and docks, a playground, picnic shelters, nature trails, fishing pier, enclosed dog park and a volleyball court.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

How much is it? Are there different membership options?

The pricing structure is much like a country club. You will pay a one-time entry fee and monthly dues based on the membership that you choose. Connect with the club nearest you to learn more about membership options and current promotions!

How do I make a reservation?

Reserving a boat has never been easier. Simply log in to your reservation dashboard and choose your desired date, vessel, and time slot.

How much can I boat?

We allow up to 4 rolling reservations at any given time. Simply put – you can have 4 reservations on the books. Once you use one, you free one up. You may book up to 6 months in advance!

How many boats do you have?

Number and type of boats will vary by location. Connect with the club nearest you to learn more about the local fleet.

WHAT OUR CUSTOMERS SAY

Everything was ready to go without any problem, very clean boats, full gas plus the person at the dock was really friendly and helpful about everything. Great experience!

Incredible day of boating with the Freedom Boat Club yesterday. They went above and beyond. It was our first use of the reciprocal agreement and it was just as good as our typical experience on Long Island at our home base.

I am amazed at the number of other locations across the country and in Europe. FBC is the expert in the boat club industry.. For sure!
