Freedom Boat Club loves to have young people aboard, enjoying the boating lifestyle and learning new skills.

However, no matter how experienced they are, young boaters have to wait until they are 21 before they can become members.

This requirement is based on our insurance directives, and is in keeping with our focus on safe boating practices. In addition, only members who have completed mandatory training classes and new member orientation are allowed to drive and operate a Freedom Boat Club vessel. Non-members, or people under the age of 21, are not allowed to operate the boat.
