Freedom Boat Club is the world’s largest boat club, and we just recently hit a major milestone in our Company history announcing our 400th global location, which is planned for Jupiter, Florida – one of the most popular boating destinations in the U.S. 

Increasing diversity on the water  

Since we established Freedom in 1989, we have perfected the boat share model and developed the concept as an opportunity to expand boater participation. With a diverse demographic of first-time and veteran boaters, we are focused on introducing new audiences to the on-water lifestyle. Currently, more than one-third of our members are women, and we are focused on continuing to reach new audiences.  You can learn more about efforts to increase diversity on the water through some recent news stories with our women members in D.C., Baltimore, Grand Rapids and Rochester.   

Expanding to new territories  

Over the past four years, we’ve more than doubled in size adding more than 230 locations to our portfolio and have expanded our footprint to some of the top boating destinations in the world, including have a presence in 34 states across the U.S., Canada, Europe, and most recently, Australia. As we continue our path of unrivaled scale and growth, our members can enjoy their reciprocity benefits across some of the world’s most popular boating destinations.

We are committed to delivering remarkable member experiences – both on and off the water – and as we continue to grow, our priority is our membership. All members have unlimited access to training from our US Coast Guard-certified captains. Through innovative technology initiatives and a new, intuitive reservation system, we are focused on making your experience with Freedom seamless from booking to checkout. And as we continue to grow, we are constantly refreshing our fleet to give our members the best on-water experiences.
