Englewood- Cape Haze

(Englewood, FL)

Welcome to Freedom Boat Club of Englewood:
Energetic, lovely and diverse.

Feel the energy at Englewood, where a diverse mix of popular past-times, both on and off-shore, will fill your days with fun or just let you escape. Boating, fishing, water sports, hiking and waterside dining are among members favorites.

Just south of Palm Island sits lovely Don Pedro State Park, a newer recreation spot complete with barbeque grills and restrooms. The perfect place to picnic and hike along winding trails that showcase Florida s vegetation (labeled and described for your benefit). Exclusively accessible by boat, this park is a tranquil paradise.

For a more spirited adventure, take the family skiing or knee boarding at Ski Alley, just north of Stump Pass.

And don t forget to look for Beggar the dolphin if you head north toward Venice through The Ditch. He likes to hang out just past the Albee Road Bridge.
