Dockside Waterfront Grill

Casual Waterfront Dining
& Authentic Florida Charm

Pelican Alley Restaurant

Pelican Alley was established in 1981, but the history of the building begins many years earlier. Built in the 1900's as a fish camp, it morphed into a local bar and boat rental, and then to the Admiral's Wardroom.

Through the years, it has become a favorite gathering spot for locals and a destination point for tourists. Clientele has included the famous and the infamous. Local (and not so local) artists, writers and actors have been  known to drop by to enjoy the food and the ambiance. Several ghost hunters have investigated our hauntings.

The Crow's Nest Restaurant

Venice's premier waterfront landmark since 1976, the Crow's Nest is a real local tradition and the dining room is the ideal place to watch the waterfront activity at the Venice Jetties. Voted VENICE'S BEST Restaurant by both local papers, the food is fabulous and the views are phenomenal.

Enjoy fresh seafood from Florida as well as the northeast and northwest, creatively prepared by CIA grad, Chef Mike Leopold. Choice beef and Niman Ranch pork are also featured. The Crow's Nest open kitchen is a great view for the 'culinary curious' to watch the menu creations evolve.

Pair your entree with a glass of vino - more than 30 varietals by the glass - or choose from over 950 selections on the award winning (Wine Spectator's "Best of Award of Excellence") Cellar List.

Lunch is served in the dining room Monday through Saturday and dinner is served every night and all day on Sunday. The outside deck is a popular lunch spot (until 4:30PM) and a great place to have a drink & watch the sunset before or after dinner.
