Casual, Relaxed & Rich

European explorers settled Perdido Key in search of gold and other riches. What they found instead was a wealth of unspoiled beaches, bayous, and wetlands. The same ones that continue to keep visitors coming back to the area today.

Located on one of the barrier islands protecting the Florida mainland, the Perdido Key location sits among white sand beaches and rolling dunes covered in sea oats, making it a favorite destination for swimmers, sunbathers and boaters.

This is a place famous for its casual and relaxed atmosphere where boaters can kick back and enjoy everything from cruising the coastline to watching the many shorebirds and other wildlife that call this island home.

Whether it s entering the numerous annual fishing tournaments, watching the Blue Angels Air Shows, marveling at the infamous Interstate Mullet Toss and Beach Party (held every April) or dining at the Famous Flora-Bama Restaurant and Lounge, Perdido Key offers a rich boating experience.
